Calvin Tan painting workshop

Announcing an exciting Australian First!

We are very excited to announce that we will be running a Painting Workshop with Calvin Tan at ScaleACT-25!

14 Seats are available for a full day painting workshop with world-renowned figure painter Calvin Tan at ScaleACT25. This is a paid ticketed event, with all costs being kindly donated back to the ACTSMS by Calvin to assist with the costs of running ScaleACT-25.

The workshop will be held on Saturday, 8th November, 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Calvin is an art teacher by trade and works full-time as an art teacher. To purchase an experience like this privately, you would be looking at close to $100 per hour.

• 6 hours of learning hands-on the art of figure painting from one of the best in the world.

• 1/35 Alpine Figure

• Paint Palette

• AK Paints

• Light refreshment

Ticket Purchase:

Ticket sales are now live until midnight on Thursday, 30th October 2025.

Seats will be sold through a hidden bid auction. This is the fairest way to allow everyone equal opportunity to purchase a ticket, while keeping bids hidden to stop people from snipping other people's bids before the ticket closing date.

A reserve (starting) price has been set at $80 - all bids must be at least $80 to be valid. In addition - ACTSMS full and associate members will receive an additional $25 added to their bid once ticket sales is closed. To submit your bid, please follow the link below and complete the online webform. Once the ticket sales have been closed, you will have seven days to make the payment. If payment is not received within this time, the next person in line will be offered your ticket.
