Since the first automobile hit Australia's roads, there has been an ongoing love affair between Australians and their cars. Think the long-standing rivalry between Ford and Holden. Think classics like the Holden Sandman panel van (shag'n wagon) and the Monaro. Racing greats like the James Hardie Bathurst 1000 and the Alpine Rally. Think famous Aussie cars in fiction, like the Mad Max Pursuit Special. The possibilities are almost endless…

So, for ScaleACT-25, you can enter a model of any Australian-manufactured car, or any car model produced by an Australian kit manufacturer, in any scale. Enter your model in the Civilian Vehicles & Equipment competition category and also be in the running for the special “Best Aussie car” award!

Please Note: diecast models are not eligible.

We are looking into creating a special trophy for the winner, and maybe a prize or two to go with it… stay tuned for more details!

P.S. We've aligned our 'best Aussie car' with the entry requirements for same special comp at the The Wagga & District Scale Model Club show which is held in October! Wagga is just down the road, why not enter both! :-)
