The Grail (Maritime Medal) subject for ScaleACT-25 is: 

“Sink the BISMARCK!”

ScaleACT-25 will see the return of a former popular Grail subject, last run twelve years ago - the Maritime Medal! This year we have chosen a general theme as the competition subject, “Sink the Bismarck!”.

You may enter model(s) in 1/700 scale of any vessel that was involved in the final sortie of the Bismarck (Operation Rheinübung), the Battle of the Denmark Strait, and its subsequent sinking, which covers dozens of separate German, British, Polish and other vessels as possible entries. And, if you’re really keen, we’ll also accept entries of 1/700 Swordfish and Catalina aircraft!

There are no construction or finish restrictions on entries, models may be built “Out of the Box” or they may have aftermarket parts such as photoetch, metal barrels, 3D-printed parts, wooden decks etc, etc, etc! Have at it! :-)
