Competition Registration

For ScaleACT-25 we have adopted a fabulous new, Australian-made competition management tool called Hobbyshow.Org. Using this system, you will be able to create an account for yourself and register your competition models and even upload a nice photo of your entries!

First - you need to Register with the system. Click the link above then look for the blue 'REGISTER NOW' button.

The Entrant registration form is pretty self-explanatory, stick in your Name, eMail, Phone etc... 

The one decision you need to make is Entrant Class - this means are you a Junior or Senior modeller - Juniors are young modellers 12 years old or younger - everyone else is a Senior!

When you are done, click the CREATE ACCOUNT button at the bottom of the page!

You can now Log In!

Once you've Registered and Logged In, you have options to manage your Entries, check Messages and update your personal details.

To register a competition model (an Entry), look for the CREATE NEW ENTRY button on the 'My Entries' page.

The Create Entry form is also pretty simple - at the top of the form it will confirm the Show you are entering (ScaleACT-25) and show your Entrant name.

To enter a model, select the right CATEGORY from the list, then enter the Name of your model, it's Manufacturer and Scale.

A great feature of Hobbyshow is that you can upload a nice photo of your competition model! Landscape orientation works best (sideways, not vertical) and please keep the image size down to a couple of megabytes.

Finally, you can tick checkboxes to indicate if your entry fits one of our special competitions. 

When done, click the Create Entry button!

After clicking Create Entry, the system will think for a minute (it can take a few seconds to load your photo) then show you the Entry Details page with your shiny new comp entry!

If you only have one model to enter, you're done! You can now Log Out! 

If you made a mistake, no worries, click the Edit Entry button to fix it, and if you've more entries to make, hit the Back to Entries button to go again!

(Note: In this example I've used a photo of a real Camel, cause my model ain't finished yet! When it's ready, I'll replace the photo with the 'Upload New Photo'  feature!)

Now when you are on the Your Entries page, you will see a handy list showing all of the entries you've registered so far so you can see where you are up to - and the Create New Entry button is there waiting for your next entry!

Remember - if you make a mistake, it's easy to fix from the Edit button, and if you need to Delete an entry (we hope you didn't drop it!) that's easy too...
